From inside the app
- Open Lugar.
- Tap your profile picture, then the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm.
Your account is deactivated straight away: your profile, memories and comments disappear and you get no more notifications. It is erased for good 90 days later. If you change your mind, sign in again within those 90 days and everything comes back.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, email support@lugarapp.xyz from the address your account is registered to, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm and delete within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account and profile; every memory you left, with its photos, video and audio; your echoes and their attachments; likes, comments, saved spots and events you created; your notification tokens; your presence and visit history; your friendships and blocks.
What stays
Spots, territory names and landmarks you created stay on the map, reassigned to “A former member” and carrying no link back to you. Other people's memories are anchored to those places, and removing a place would delete their content along with yours. Moderation records are retained without your identity so past decisions remain reviewable.
Retention
For 90 days after you delete, your account is kept deactivated and hidden from everyone, only so you can restore it by signing in again. After that it is erased from the live database. Encrypted infrastructure backups may retain it for up to 30 days more before they roll off.
