These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Lugar ("we") for using the Lugar app and API. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lugar.
Who can use Lugar
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using a service like this without a parent's permission, you must be that age, or have that permission. One person, one account. Accounts that break these terms can be restricted, suspended or removed.
What you post
You keep ownership of the memories, photos, videos, voice notes, comments, messages and reports you post. So that Lugar can show them, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display and distribute them inside Lugar and in the share links you create, for as long as they are on Lugar. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already received in messages, and records we must keep for moderation or the law.
You are responsible for what you post. Only post things you have the right to share.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, hate, or targeting someone, including making a spot to target a person.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, sexual content shared without consent, or nudity in public places on Lugar.
- Sharing someone's private information, such as their phone number, home address or ID documents.
- Content you do not have the rights to, such as someone else's photos, videos or music.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, fake reports, or faking your location.
- Selling or promoting illegal goods or services, weapons or drugs.
- Trying to break, overload or get around Lugar's security, limits or moderation.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. You can report anything on Lugar from its ⋯ menu.
Copyright
We respect copyright and expect people on Lugar to do the same. If you believe something on Lugar uses your work without permission, report it with the Copyright reason in the app, or send a notice to our copyright agent at support@lugarapp.xyz that includes:
- your name, address, phone number and email;
- a description of the work you own, and a link to (or description of) where it appears on Lugar;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We remove material that a valid notice identifies and tell the person who posted it. If you posted it and believe it was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, what was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live. Accounts that repeatedly post material they do not have the rights to are closed.
Places, spots and names
Spots, areas and their names are shared by everyone. Names can be suggested and voted on, and spots you create stay on the map if you leave Lugar, without your name. Do not name a spot after a private person or use a name to mislead.
Messages
Anyone can message anyone on Lugar. People who are not your friends can send a few messages, words only, until you reply. Block anyone at any time. A moderator may read a conversation if someone in it reports it.
Reports and points
Reports you send help make Happening now summaries. Points for useful reports are for fun inside Lugar. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may be changed or reset.
Changes and availability
Lugar is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your content safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Using Lugar after that means you accept the new terms.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It is hidden at once and erased after 90 days, as the Privacy Policy explains. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the law.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other people post or do, including at the places you visit because of Lugar. Take care when going somewhere you saw on Lugar, and when meeting people. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited.
